UK data residency
Your mailbox and its backups live on servers in the United Kingdom, operated by us. Nothing is replicated to a data centre outside the UK.
VoltaMail speaks the protocols your existing clients already know: IMAP, SMTP submission and JMAP, served from the United Kingdom. No lock-in, no scanning, no surprises in the connection settings.
Where your mail lives, and what nobody does with it.
Your mailbox and its backups live on servers in the United Kingdom, operated by us. Nothing is replicated to a data centre outside the UK.
We never read, profile or sell the contents of your mail. The only metadata we keep is what's needed to deliver, filter and bill.
Use the mail app you already have. Set it up once.
Apple Mail, Thunderbird and Outlook all connect over standard IMAP and SMTP. Read your mail wherever you already work.
Autodiscover and Autoconfig are published, so most clients set up host, port and security for you from just your address.
Encrypted on the wire, strict about who gets in.
Inbound mail is scored with greylisting and DNSBL checks, and DKIM, SPF and DMARC are enforced so forged senders don't reach your inbox.
Every connection is encrypted: TLS 1.2 or 1.3 on IMAP and JMAP, STARTTLS on submission.
Autodiscover fills these in for most clients. They're here for the ones that ask you to type them yourself.
